1. Payment Methods
pinkjersey.com utilizes a secure, virtual terminal at Square® in processing payments, so your credit or debit card number, expiration or security code is neither collected or maintained in any of our systems. Square® accepts all major debit, credit and certain prepaid card types, so payment by American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa is accepted. To be sure, you do not have to have an account with Square®, and may pay for your purchases as a Guest.
2. Privacy and Security
pinkjersey.com is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect to process orders only, and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. When you place an order as an Account Holder, Guest or Member with pinkjersey.com, the data are kept safe and secure through encoding with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, an encryption protocol that protects information as it travels over the internet.
To process orders we request certain information including name, email, billing and mailing addresses, and telephone. Because of our secure, virtual payment processing at Square®, your credit card number, expiration or security code is neither collected nor maintained in any of our systems. The information you provide pinkjersey.com is used to accomplish commerce only, and will never be given or sold to a third-party for any reason.
3. Product Availability
Unless otherwise indicated, all products appearing in the pinkjersey.com online store are available for immediate shipping. Products having a “3-5 Days” badge ship in three (3) to five (5) business days, and products indicating “Out of Stock” are out of stock, and are not available for order or back-order. Products are continuously added to our inventory as we better understand demand, so please visit us regularly to see our expanding assortment of Italian cycling products.
4. Returns and Exchanges
Please accept our apology in advance for not offering a liberal return policy, but no returns are accepted for any reason. We know our strict no return policy is openly in variance with what is expected or usual, but we believe we are providing a higher level of Client Service as you can be assured the article you receive has never been previously sold, installed or used.
So, if your purchase is predicated on the article’s return, then we respectfully request that you make your purchases elsewhere. Of course, if the article you received is not what you ordered, ordered being the operative word here, then we will gladly exchange it for you and pay for any exchange outbound and return shipping.
5. Risk of Loss
All items purchased from the pinkjersey.com store and subsequently shipped through a third-party are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS or USPS). As a result, pinkjersey.com is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur through shipping, and all shipment methods are encouraged to include adequate insurance in the event of complete loss and tracking.
6. Shipping
In an attempt to keep shipping charges to a minimum pinkjersey.com selects the most economical method available through our contract carriers DHL, FedEx, UPS and USPS. Generally, we process and ship orders the same day, or the next business day if orders are received after 12:00pm Mountain, or on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
pinkjersey.com offers free shipping on orders of $25 or more, and $4,95 flat-rate shipping on orders below $25. Please note that large or oversized items including, but not limited to, build kits, framesets, groupsets, rims and wheels, and travel cases may be subject to shipping charges for non-Members, and are calculated upon checkout.
7. Taxes
pinkjersey.com is required to collect sales tax from Clients in states where we have a “sales tax nexus”. This includes, but is not limited to, having an affiliate, location or personnel, drop-shipping, or storing inventory in any state. The sales tax nexus for pinkjersey.com includes the state of Colorado only, but we remit these taxes to the state on our Client’s behalf without any collection; Colorado resident purchases are “tax free”.
With respect to the Internet Tax Freedom Act (1998) and subsequent Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act (2015), pinkjersey.com neither collects nor remits any sales taxes from or on behalf of Clients located in states that have enacted legislation to collect taxes on internet sales, where a sales tax nexus does not exist.
8. Warranty
pinkjersey.com is an authorized retailer of the products listed in our online store, and all products are subject to the original equipment manufacturer’s warranty; please visit the manufacturer’s website in order to become familiar with their warranty policy. While we will be happy to work with you for an item that may be defective, we encourage you to pursue product warranties through your local bicycle shop.
Products that are not covered under warranty for any reason include, but are not limited to: battery or usb powered accessories or components; brake hoods; any drink or food (e.g., energy bars, chews, drink mixes or tablets, drinks, or gels); handlebar tapes; inner tubes; tubular tires; or, VMS (vitamins, minerals and supplements). Of course, products that are not properly installed are not covered under warranty, so it is advised to have a professional bicycle mechanic install your products to the manufacturer required torque specifications.
